1932- It Was A Jersey Show In Dublin!

Well, I was hoping you wouldn’t ask, but since you did, I have no idea what a Jersey show is or was. I am going to assume the town of Dublin, Texas hosted some type of Jersey cow show, similar to a stock show, but what do I know!  :)

Whatever it was, it was important enough for the city of Dublin to purchase a very large ad in the Comanche Chief in May of 1932. What I think is fun is seeing a list of the various Dublin businesses of 1932.

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
