1952 Comanche Indians Coaches

Someone sent me this photo quite some time ago, telling me that these were the “A team” coaches from 1952. I don’t have an annual from that year in front of me so I’m going to have to have some of you give me their names!

Time is a strange thing. On one hand, 1951 does not sound that long ago. On the other, can you imagine any of our football coaches dressing like these two? :)

I’d kind of like to have the “boots” though!

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
