Come join the fun – this year Hico’s Billy the Kid Family Fun Day & Barbeque Cook-Off is giving away vendor sites!

That’s right – you can set up to sell arts, crafts, or direct sales or even promote your retail shop all in pursuit of raising funds for our dedicated Volunteer Fire Department. Set up your shop in the beautiful Hico City Park under towering pecan trees, or in one of our two permanent white wooden pavilions. All we ask in return is a 10% donation of your sales.

If you are interested in setting up shop on November 15, go to the Billy the Kid Barbeque Blog (http://billythekidbbqcook-off.blogspot.com) and send them an email to make sure your space is reserved!

If you’d like to be a cooker at the IBCA Sanctioned Barbeque Cook-off with an 80% payout, the information and applications are on the website.

Come on out Saturday November 15 from 9 to 6 and enjoy barbeque sandwiches, children’s activities, bake sales, turkey raffles and our arts & crafts market just in time for Christmas shopping!

To help the Lions Clubs save the vision of hundreds here in Texas, please bring an old pair of glasses to donate and get a FREE face painting!

    About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
