Brennan Vineyards At Capacity On Grapes!

We are just about at capacity here at Brennan Vineyards and we still have five more varieties to pick. I have no idea how we are going to get all these grapes in here. But when I figure it out I will let you know.

We picked 18.2 ton of Syrah yesterday from our Comanche Vineyard. It looks great this year. Syrah has been so unreliable in our vineyard that we stopped making a Syrah in 07′ and started make aRhoneblend (Buffalo Rhome).

This year has us now reconsidering that decision. Still too early to tell, but maybe a 2012 Syrah is in our future. We still have Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon (from 2 vineyards), Malbec & Mourvedre to go. And Cinsault from the High Plains. So we will have about two more weeks of harvesting.
