Well I hope everyone had some great time off during the holidays. I sure did. My family spent Christmas at home in Granbury then we spent time with family in Santa Fe, NM & Durango, CO. Great time although the coldest temperature in CO was -12. Yikes!
Over the weekend Brennan Vineyards Lily 2011 became the most awarded wine for us. It just received its fourth GOLD Medal.
To date now it has 1 DOUBLE GOLD, 3 GOLD, 1 SILVER & 1 BRONZE Medal. And more to come I hope.
We have a few more competitions to enter this wine in. The Lily 2011 is a white Rhone blend of Roussanne 53%, Viognier 25% & Grenache 22%.
All of the grapes came from the High Plains region of Texas (Bingham & Reddy Vineyards).
