Brennan Vineyards wins Gold!

Starting today we are about to get busy here at Brennan Vineyards. We are taking red wines from 2010 & 2011 out of barrels and putting 2012 red wines into barrels. This will take a few weeks of juggling tank space and open barrels and cleaning barrels.

Over Thanksgiving, we received the results from the Houston Rodeo International Wine Competition. We are very pleased to announce we won 2 GOLD Medals & 2 SILVER Medals. The GOLDs were for the 2010 Viognier and 2011 Lily. The SILVERs were for the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2010 Dark Horse. That is the third GOLD Medal for both the Viognier and the Lily. Our 4.0 Cellars partners did very well, too. McPherson Cellars received a DOUBLE GOLD for his Tre Colore and GOLD medals for his Sangiovese and Viognier. Lost Oak Winery got 2 SILVER medals, Shiraz and Tempranillo and 2 BRONZE medals, Gewurtztraminer and Riesling.
