    Let’s Have A Little Fun!

Thanks to Vickie Gore Harvick for this one! If you are from Comanche and have a little age on you, you are going to recognize at least some of the people pictured in this photo. See how many you can get and THEN…see if you can figure out the name of the store.

WoooWeeee….look at that checked knit suit!!!

    About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.

Fredda, the man on the back right with the black tie is Mr. Buckler. (I cannot remember his first name). He and his wife owned an antique place just to the north of where Hathcock’s is and where Danny Armstrong has his office now. also, His wife was a wonderful artist, painting in oils and pastels. And, she is standing second to the right in the picture. And Mr. Bucker was a wonderful water color artist. They both painted in the store and sold used furniture. maybe in the earlier days, they sold other items, such as in the picture. they were both fine people. thanks, Missy Jones, Comanche
