• CCTC Summer Track Schedule Set

    Free Running and Track event instruction for ages 4-18.
    Age divisions:
    Boys and Girls Age Divisions
    6 & under
    8 & under
    10 & under
    12 & under
    14 & under
    16 & under
    18 & under

    Eligibility for 18 & under division: Senior and high school participants without having competed at the college level in a any track & field competition. Someone born in 1994, and who just graduated in May of the current year that meets the above stipulation is also eligible.

    Hosted by Comanche County Track Club (parents that would like to volunteer to help are more than welcome attend and help with the event)

    Starting Thursday May 23rd thru June 20th

    Every Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:00 at Indian Stadium in Comanche. Form running instruction will be given as well as instruction on proper form and techniques in field events. We will have races by age division to end every evening.

    Field Events taught.

    Shot Put Discus
    Long Jump Triple Jump
    Pole Vault High Jump
    6:30 to 7:00 Form Running instruction and speed training
    7:00 to 7:30 Field event Instruction/Practice
    7:30 to 8:00 or to completion Races in various distances

    Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years!
