Well 4.0 Cellars has only been open a few weeks down in Fredericksburg and it is already the talk of the town. Our customers down there love the architecture of our tasting room. The think our wines are great and are the best value of all the wineries down there. And most importantly that we have the best customer service of all the wineries down there.
So needless to say I am very pleased with how things are progressing down there. We just had our media Grand Opening the other night as well. I thought the event was great and there were a lot of media there. So we hope will we start seeing some great articles written about 4.0 Cellars in the near future. Here at Brennan Vineyards I have been working on crop estimations. It is early in the year but this is shaping up to be a year very similar to 2010.
2010 was one of the largest grape crop years every recorded in Texas. There is literally tons and tons of extra grapes we are going to have this year. I am currently working on a harvest plan. I will use as much of the grapes as we can use. Then we plan to sell the rest. We did the same thing in 2010 and it was great. We sold so much in grapes we were able to pay for all of our bottles, labels, corks, ect. for bottling. I hope we can do the same this year. It looks like we have escaped the threat of any late spring freeze this year.
Now we need to avoid any major thunder storms (hail mainly). Always something.
