City To Dedicate Belve Bean Sign April 9

Well, it’s been a long time in the making, but the sign honoring pro baseball player, Belve Bean, long time Comanche County resident and sheriff, as well as countless others who gave so much of themselves to see the complex become a reality is finally in place, and on April 9, 2016, the Comanche fields will be dedicated as the Belve Bean Comanche Youth Council Sports Complex.

Today, Mayor Ronnie Clifton, along with Matt Lopez and Wade Hall,  announced that the dedication will take place as part of opening day ceremonies on April 9, and everyone is, of course, encouraged to attend.

We were so excited that the sign was finally in place that the photo below was snapped with a cell phone before the mortar was even cleaned off of the sign!
