    MUSEUM BOARD

The Comanche County, Texas Historical Museum Board met at 7:00 in the evening on August 8, 2011, at the museum in a regular board meeting.

President Fain McDaniel opened the meeting by asking for the Treasure’s report and the last meeting’s minutes. Terry Barnes, Edward Jones, gave a financial report that was of course disheartening due to the last few weeks drop in the market.

As you know, the museum operates on donations, and it does not have these dollars to lose. I’m sure members would welcome your contribution to help offset the costs of maintaining this wonderful historic museum.

If you haven’t visited the museum lately, you are missing out on room after room of county treasures. The newest project taken on by the museum is the creation of a Duster Community room.
