• Comanche High School To Host Seuss Dinner Theatre

Oh the things we can think, when we think about Seuss!

Comanche’s High School theatre class will be hosting a Seuss Dinner Theatre on November 30th and December 1st starting at 6 pm. There will be three shows:

    • Seussodyssey- Odyssey is transformed into the style of Dr. Seuss. You will meet a quirky Cyclops, a sassy Circe, and even beautiful Sirens on this journey.
    • Wiley and the Hairy Man (the Jr High competition Play) – We all have fears that our imagination allows to run wild. Wiley, who lives in the swamp, battles his fear of the Hairy Man with his Dog and Mammy.
    • Seussical- We will end the night with a toe tapping sing-along fun time featuring the Cat in the Hat, Horton (from Horton hears a Who), Mazzie, Gertrude, and many more Seuss creatures.

Many different characters will be seen through out the night, and there will be opportunities for pictures, games, and lots of laughter. Pancakes will be served with a Seuss twist, provided by the Home Economics class. The art classes are designing our wacky props and our colorful backgrounds, and the technology classes are editing the music for the shows. What a great opportunity to see the many things our students are accomplishing at Comanche. Many students have put lots of time, effort, and love into this show so please make plans to attend. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5. It is a fun time for everyone!

If you never did, you should. These things are fun and fun is good!  -Dr. Seuss
