• Comanche KIWANIS Preparing For Huge Fireworks Display

When we met with the Comanche KIWANIS last week, we found members all abuzz with last minute details about the event that puts the town of Comanche, Texas on the map every July: the Family On The Fourth celebration. KIWANIS members provide the grand finale to the evening with one of the best fireworks shows in the state of Texas, and Texans United has been asked to extend the invitation to all of you to join the town of Comanche as it celebrates the birth of this nation on Wednesday July 4, 2012.

Be sure and bring your chairs (unless you’d like to sit in the bleachers) and bring the family and join the crowd at Indian Stadium in Comanche early in the evening for typical July 4 eats as well as a boatload of entertainment capped off with a salute to those men and women who have worked to keep this country free and fireworks to end the evening.

    About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
