• Comanche, Texas Museum Hosts 60 Blanket Students

Wow! The Comanche County Historical Museum was bustling with activity on Monday afternoon, May 1, 2011, when about sixty students hopped of of their yellow dog for a tour of the fourteen room museum.

Various board members were on hand to divide the students into three groups and give personalized tours full of stories, explanations, and answer a multitude of questions.

From tanning hide to making lye soap to looking at doll houses and enjoying climbing up into the carriages, the students seemed excited to learn all they could about once upon a time and days gone by.
