• Comanche UIL Students Heading To Regional Competition!

CHS Continuing To Reap The Rewards Of Hard Work

Comanche High School has definitely been riding the winds of success this school year, and there was no surprise here at Texans United when we received the message from academic coach Leanne Ingram that sixteen of our CHS UIL Academic students will be advancing to Regional competition.

(You know that Spring has Sprung when you simply cannot find a day when all students are at school. I did, however, manage to grab a photo of the journalism district champs!)

“Comanche High School faced some very tough competition at the District UIL Academic Meet held Monday in Brady and ended the day as the 2nd place team in the district. Forty students participated in 18 events, and 16 of those students will be advancing to the Regional Meet being held in Abilene on April 23. These students worked very hard, and represented Comanche very, very well.”

Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
