It was to quite a bit of a fanfare sendoff that the Texas State Champion Ag Business team from Comanche, Texas traveled this week to the city of Indianapolis where team members competed with students from around the country for the national title.

They discovered that Indianapolis is a city of beautiful sites, archetecture, and musuems, and they had a great time acting the tourists.

They also competed in a national contest with students from all over the country, their knowledge of the business that is agriculture expected to extend way beyond the borders of Texas, running east and west, north and south, across the expanse of the United States.

After completing all testing, the team had twenty-four hours to wait on those proverbial pins and needles, but when the final scores were tallied, these students represented Comanche beautifully with Taylor Stephens winning a gold emblem and B.J., Colten, and Tyler the silver emblem.

The team itself will be bringing home the Silver Emblem Team award!

    Way to go Comanche!
