Come Join Us For Jams In June!

June is slipping away with our opportunity to join us on the east side of the square in Comanche for Jams in June, brought to you by the Comanche Chamber  of Commerce and Agriculture!

I have to tell you, I wasn’t sure about it all when we first began Jams last year, but as the old song says, “I’m a believer; I’m a believer…” We had a wonderful time last year, and we were able to sit, relax, and visit with people we had not seen in a very long time as well as those that we seemed to only have time to wave at from a distance. In a nutshell, Jams in June was FUN!

This year’s lineup:

June 11- Hayden Taylor and Robert Brooks, Comanche High School

June 18- David Woolam & Marvin McKeehan, Comanche’s Chuck Wagon duo

June 25- Cheyenne Holt and McKenzie Jones, winners of the Pow Wow talent contest*

The rains have come, and we plan to celebrate by getting together with friends and family right here in Comanche, Texas. Bring a lawn chair and come join us on Thursday evenings!

*We recently brought you the story of Cheyenne’s accident and health issues. We all have Cheyenne in our prayers, and we hope that she will feel like being with us.

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for and marketing small-town Texas.
