• Crock Pot Spiced Pork Chops Recipe

    ASIAN PORK CHOPSI’m on a pork kick these days so I’m sure I’ll be posting several recipes. Tonight I’m serving Asian pork chops, a very different chop from our norm. These are super simple because they can be prepared in the crock pot.

    You can also eat them as pictured as I do, or you can serve with a lot of the sauce which is the way my husband eats them. Either makes a very nice change from what we consider the norm. Just remember that if you are watching carbs, you will need to omit the sauce from your serving. Don’t worry; they are still delicious without it!!


    2 Pork Center Rib Chops Bone In Thick, or your favorite pork*
    ½ Cup Soy Sauce
    ½ Cup Ketchup
    ¾ Cup Brown Sugar
    1 /2 to 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
    Ground Peppercorn, about 10


    1. Mix all sauce ingredients together well.

    2. Put chops in crock pot.

    3. Pour sauce over meat.

    4. Turn on low and cook for about 5 hours, according to how tender you want your meat.

    *I used this cut of meat because it was what I had. I also used two chops because that was what I needed. Adjust recipe according to your needs and tastes.

        We’ve talked about that, Patsy. I will do my best to remember to ask our tech again. It will, of course, be according to how expensive that is, but I’d love it. The last time we discussed it, owners of other sites told me how badly the feature worked for them. I would love to have it if it worked well!
