• Dublin, Texas: Let’s Cheer For Dublin!

“We love Dublin; that’s why we’re here. If you love Dublin, stand up and cheer!!!” You simply do not want to miss the 2012 Dublin Chamber of Commerce Banquet which will be held on February 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the junior high gymnasium

Along with an actual pep (people enjoying people) rally for Dublin led by the Dublin varsity cheerleaders, the banquet theme is “Remember When: A Blast From The Past” and is shaping up to be uplifting, fun, and a time of sharing old memories and memorabilia of Dublin.

According to chamber executive director Nancy Wooldridge, “This is the perfect time for all of us to become cheerleaders for Dublin; what a great time to cheer our city and everything good about Dublin, Texas!”

The fare for the evening will consist of brisket, beans, potato salad, and yummy peach cobbler, all donated and prepared by Dublin locals. Guests will be served by the Dublin varsity cheerleaders, and here at Texansunited.com we salute these girls for being involved in their community!

Tickets for the banquet are $18.00 for members and $20.00 for nonmembers. Everyone involved are hoping to break the 200 mark on tickets sold so get yours now at the chamber office and let’s cheer on the most Irish town in Texas!

GIVE ME A D….GIVE ME A U…GIVE ME A B……remember when that was our rowdy cheer?
