Eleven of Dublin High School’s students are currently taking the Cyber Foundations 2011 National Competition. There are over 120 schools participating across the United States in the Cyber Foundations Competition.
The competition is sponsored by the U.S. Cyber Challenge, which seeks to increase the young generation’s knowledge on web mastering. In Texas there are three schools along with Dublin High School taking the Cyber Challenge.
The Cyber Foundations Competition consists of a series of three modules- networking, operating systems and system administration. Each of these modules will be available for approximately two weeks.
After each module is completed a test from that module is given to the students. Students have the opportunity to test their knowledge and win prizes, as well recognition for the school they are representing.
The entire competition is scheduled to finish at the end of November.
Here at Texansunited.com, we have to insert here that Ms. Jennifer Miller is pushing Dublin, Texas and her students front and center every time we turn around. Our hats are off to you, Ms. Miller!…Yaritza Corrales
