PEPPERED STEAKIngredients

    2 TBSP olive oil
    1 large onion (sliced)
    1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
    1 tsp chopped garlic
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup honey*
    dash of balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1 1/2 lbs of your favorite steak (i used sirloin)
    *BUT……..when i’m totally done cooking it all i “drizzle” more honey on top and then give it a good “toss”…..


    heat oil in skillet, cook steaks about 2 min on each side on med-high heat.

    remove and cook  peppers and onion in skillet, remove add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and garlic, salt & pepper, and ginger, and “reduce” down for about 5 min….

    while that’s reducing, slice steak VERY thin….then add steak, peppers, and onion into skillet and continue cooking on med heat until beef is cooked to desired doneness.

    and at the end i “squirt” a drizzle of honey over everything in the skillet and give it one more good toss!!!!

    we served ours over white rice!!!!

      I don’t know if you know Kampot pepper, but me I only use this aromatic pepper for my sirloin steack. A real pleasure to pepper.
