Frank McCarty, Mary C. Price Marry In Waco 1915

From a scrapbook dated 1915

Frank McCarty and Miss Mary C. Price were married in Waco Friday of last week at the home of Mrs. M.A. Riddle. Both the contracting parties are Comanche raised, the bride being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Price and the groom a son of Dr. J.F. McCarty.

They will make their home there, Frank being in the employee of Brazos Cotton Oil Co. Best wishes for a long and happy married life are extended them.

I believe this is the mother of the bride, Emma (Gaskill) Price.

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for and marketing small-town Texas.
