Fritts, Lane, Davis, Roberson, Wagner Families In Texas

We have quite a few readers who tie into the Fritts, Lane, Davis, Wagner, Roberson families so I thought I would post this one in case some of you have not seen it. Feel free to let me know any info you might have on these people or any mistakes I have made.

BELLE FRITTS MCONNELL LANE ROBERSON AND FAMILY

Pictured on the back row are Emma Lane, Peace Wagner, Clint Fritts, Mary Jane Isabelle Fritts Lane Roberson, Sarah “Sadie” Jane McConnell Davis, Mrs. Clint Fritts.

Seated on the front row are _____ Lane, Winfield Wagner, Thomas Davis, and Mr. Grainger.

And there is a bit of a mystery for me in this photo. In my husband’s family, we have a Winfield Wagner (1848-1934) who married Martha “Mattie” Sims. They had a son named Winfield Wagner, Jr. (b. 1880).  I know I’ve seen that name, Peace, “somewhere.” Help!

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
