• Giving Greatest Generation Flight For Christmas Gift?

Looking for that off the wall or very different Christmas gift?

I received my monthly email from Greatest Generation Aircraft and decided to pass it along to you. Our family flew the Christmas Lights Flight a couple of years ago and, while a little scary, it was also a lot of fun. Plus, I really wanted our grandchildren to gain an understanding of how their great-grandfather was transported during WWII.

It’s loud, it’s bumpy, and there are weapon ports (holes) in the windows. It is also the perfect way to actually relive history.

“The holidays are quickly approaching and that can only mean one thing…well, ok…it means many things…but regardless, IT’S TIME TO BOOK YOUR CHRISTMAS LIGHT FLIGHTS :) This has become a family tradition for many of you….sipping hot chocolate or coffee and munching on a cookie as you watch the historic warbird taxi into place…then you take your magic carpet ride over millions of twinkling Christmas lights…flying low over the amazing displays of the DFW area, to include Lake Arlington’s Interlochen (voted in the top 3 Christmas light displays in the country). Fireball Photography will be on hand to offer customized photos, but you’re also welcome to bring your own cameras.

“All flights are conducted at American Aero at Meacham Airport.

“$99 for one, two for $189. Kids two years old and younger may ride for free in the lap of a paid adult. All others require a seat, all seats are the same price. You can either use one of the payment buttons below using Visa, MasterCard or Discover, or call and pay over the phone with a credit/debit card (including American Express) and book specific dates.

“Once you’ve paid for your seats, please email greatestgeneration@yahoo.com with your desired dates and a cell phone number for one person in your party, a confirmation email will be sent with check-in time, address, flight waiver, etc. We will be offering flights nightly, beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov 28, starting at 6 pm, every hour through 9 pm, so 6, 7, 8 or 9 pm. For any additional information, please email or call 817 659 9249.”
