Happy New Year From The Entire Team At Brennan Vineyards

Happy New Year from the entire team at Brennan Vineyards!

2012 is set to be an exciting year for us. 4.0 Cellars construction is in full swing and should be open by early spring. For those who have not heard of 4.0 Cellars it is a new tasting room that we have partnered with two other Texas wineries McPherson Cellars in Lubbock & Lone Oak Winery in Burleson that will be located on HWY 290 7 miles east of Fredericksburg.

You will be able to taste and purchase wines from all three wineries there. In 2012, we will also release a new red wine primarily made from a grape called Nero d’Avola. More details to follow on this new wine.

We have been very busy in the winery foe the past few weeks. We have taken all the 2010 red wines that we plan to bottle out of barrel and started putting all the 2011 red wines back in barrel. The 2011 white wines and rose are getting close to being bottled.

Starting in January 2012 we will also start working in all 3 of our vineyards again. It is time to start pruning the grapevines. The recent rains will help the grape development for 2012 tremendously. It will be an exciting year with lots going on.
