The Little Church on Grafton Street was the site of the monthly meeting of History 101, a capsule-sized view of past events hosted by the Dublin Historical Society. Mary Yantis, historical society president, presided this week over discussions of Dublin’s contributions at home and on the battle front in World War II.
Visiting prior to the meeting were Garvin Hendon and Dick Yantis. The next meeting, set for Monday May 7 at 5:30 p.m. will center on the early 1900s in Dublin. Visitors are always welcome, there is no charge and refreshments are served. [NOTICE: THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.]
