My grandson Caden was sweet enough to spend last Saturday with me, doing my bidding so that we could serve the family “Sunday dinner.” I’m pretty sure he learned more about cooking than he ever wanted to know and all without ever losing his beautiful smile!
In addition to everything we planned to served, we also experimented on a new cucumber salad dressing. It’s delicious, and it contains MUCH fewer chemicals than those bottled dressings we buy in the store!
Because we simply put all of our ingredients in the Nutri-bullet, our dressing is slightly thinner than it would be if you grated your cucumber and drained it before mixing. However, we also made it in about five minutes!
1 Cucumber, grated and drained
1 Onion, grated
1 Cup Mayo
Lemon Juice, about 1/4 of a lemon
Dash of Garlic Salt
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate.
*I like to add a bit of cream cheese to this simply to add a bit more bulk.
