• Ike Wade Tax Service Is Alive And Well

Well, it’s been a long time comin,’ but Ike Wade is finally taking a bit of a breather, having sold the bookkeeping portion of his bookkeeping and tax business to Boucher, Morgan, & Young, 330 N. Patrick Street in Dublin, Texas.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Ike hasn’t retired, and he is still neck-deep in Ike Wade’s Tax Service, but the sale does take a big load off of the overworked workaholic who’s owned his own business since 1985…June of 1985, to be exact…

…It was in June of 1985 that with the encouragement of wife Patty, Ike Wade rented a building, had some business cards printed, and began knocking doors as he introduced himself to the town of Dublin. If I remember correctly, Ike told me that he knew exactly four people in Dublin back in those days!

Following the advice of the man that was to become a great friend, Ike joined the Lions Club, got busy working in the community, and he began to meet people. And, just as friend and mentor Everett Hightower told him, Ike Wade began to be successful. Ike began to get involved in the town of Dublin…and his business grew right along with him. Then, it grew some more until it became obvious that it was time to make some changes.

Today, Ike Wade’s Tax Service is open at 127 N. Patrick Street, and he invites your business. 254-445-4797

I’m so glad everything worked out for Ike. He couldn’t have had a better mentor than Everett Hightower. He and Betty were both very good friends. Hopefully You and Ike will have some time for yourselves now. I miss seeing you around since the Library. Hopefully, soon I will be out and about again & see a lot of my friends I have missed seeing. You two have some fun without the work. Is that possible??? lol Hope to see both of you soon.
