So what did the Comanche Maidens have to say about their clean sweep of the first half of their district season…after how many overtimes?
Nobody can outlast us. We are in shape, and we fight till the end. -Jilian Hufstutler
All of our opponents have been tough, but I think if we keep focusing and preparing for the game at hand, we will pull together as a family and succeed as a team. -Mandy Carter
We knew going into this game that it wasn’t going to be easy. We were 3-0, and Coleman was ready to play. We didn’t let that get into our heads, and we knew we had to play like we were 0-3. We didn’t have a good start, but at half we all talked and came back together. -Mo Alvarado
We’ve really started to play together as a team, and I wouldn’t trade my team for the world. We have progressed so much this season, and we will continue to improve. -Emily Tindol
The girls worked extremely hard tonight. We were down early in the game, but it never phased them. They continued to work through their turnovers and missed shots. I am excited for these girls as they have persevered through a tough preseason schedule. We still have a tough road ahead, but we will continue to work and fight! -Coach Salinas
It’s been quite a ride so far, girls, but a little less excitement with a few less overtimes might save a few of our nerves!
