It’s Busy at Brennan Vineyards

The vineyard is where most of the action is going on right now.

Some grapes have started going through verasion. Verasion is when the grapes start to get their color. You can easily see it in red grapes. Whites grapes go from being green to a more translucent yellow.

So far this 2012 harvest looks to be another huge crop for Texas. Which is good since we had such a small harvest last year due to the drought.

The tasting room hear in Comanche has been busy of the last several weekends. The summer traffic has begun, which is great. The new wines that we have released have been a hit as well. The 2011 Lily and the 2010 Dark Horse as well as the 2010 Viognier and 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon are all flying off the shelves.

4.0 cellars down in Fredericksburg is also doing great. Not surprised with the amount of wine tourism there is down in the Hill Country. There are lots of music events schedule at 4.0 Cellars.
