• Making Halloween Memories With Your Little Spooks

There’s just never enough time to do the special things that we want to do with our children, is there?  And it’s the special things that make the memories so here at Texans United we have an idea of an easy way to create a special Halloween memory that your little ones will remember forever.

Be sure to have your camera ready to record the fun. You’ll hate yourself if you don’t!

    Making Halloween Squirmy Wormies

2 packs (3 oz) Raspberry Jello
    1 pkg unflavored gelatin
    3/4 cup whipping cream
    3 cups boiling water
    15 drops green food color
    Container to hold straws

Put all gelatin in large glass measuring cup and pour in boiling water. Stir till dissolved and then let cool to lukewarm.

While waiting, stand straws on end in your container and put a rubber band around the top of the stack as well as the bottom so that they remain standing like corn shocks.

Add whipping cream and food color to the lukewarm mixture. Stir well, then pour into the straws.

Let worms set until they are firm.

Run straws briefly under warm water to loosen them (without letting water run into the straws) and then shake worms out of the straws.

    Let the fun begin!
