Dallas writer Jeff Miller, (left) and Mike Jones, Ben Hogan Museum board member from Lawton, Oklahoma, were guests at the weekly meeting of the Dublin Rotary Club. The men came to Dublin following the quarterly meeting of the Ben Hogan Breakfast Club at Shady Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth.
Miller is currently writing a book about the early careers of Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson. While in Dublin, he toured the land owned by Scott and Clay Estes where the Dublin-DeLeon Golf Links used to be. That location is now the site of the annual Cow Pasture Golf Classic which raises funds for the Ben Hogan Museum of Dublin.
