More Ruben McCullough (b. 1848) Family

I LOVE it when families start connecting in our Genealogy section here on texansunited.com. This week I heard from another branch of the Ruben McCullough family who also sent more photos! Be sure to notice the sign on the fence.

These photos come from Janet Gindlesperger, who picked up the genealogy ball where Kenneth Evans left off.  The photo just below Janet titles the whole Ruben McCullough family.

Janet, someone is going to be very happy because you shared!

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.

I’ve never seen this picture! This is great! Can you tell me the date on the sign? Does it say 1898? My great-great grandfather was Luther. Thank you! Pat

    • Janet Jobe Gindlesperger says:

Yes, it was March, 1898. My grandfather is Milton and he and Millie would have been about 10 years old. I remember Uncle Luther from some of the old family reunions we had in Brownwood.
