• Motorcycle Rally In Comanche

    The following comes from Christine Perkins and the Comanche Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture:

    The Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association State Rally will be held in Comanche on Friday, April 13- Sunday, April 15. This event draws over 300 bikers from the state to the Comanche City Park. While here the groups invest in our community by shopping locally, visiting our historic downtown and other historic locations, and it raises money locally for the Comanche Volunteer Fire Department.

    FOUNDED IN THE EARLY 1970’s, THE TEXAS MOTORCYCLE ROADRIDERS ASSOCIATION IS THE LARGEST ASSOCIATION OF CLUBS AND INDIVIDUALS IN THE STATE OFTEXAS. FOR OVER 30 YEARS they HAVE STOOD FOR RIGHTS, EDUCATION, FELLOWSHIP, AND COMMUNICATION FOR TEXAS RIDERS.

    THERE ARE SIX GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS, EACH REPRESENTED BY A TMRA VICE PRESIDENT TO ENSURE THAT THE CONCERNS OF ALL AREA MEMBERS ARE BROUGHT TO THE STATE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

    MEMBERSHIP IN TMRA PRESENTS SEVERAL BENEFITS. OUR MONTHLY MAGAZINE, THE DAIMLER’S FOLLY, THE GOOD SAMARITAN PROGRAM AND THE SUPPORTING MERCHANT PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, ALL MEMBERS ARE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE A TERM LIFE INSURANCE POLICY OF $2000.00 FREE OF CHARGE. HIGHER BENEFITS ARE AVAILABLE AT A REDUCED COST. CHARTERED CLUBS CAN LIST THEIR EVENTS IN THE CALENDAR, AND PROMOTE THEM IN THE DAIMLER’S FOLLY.

    The group also works to promote legislation that affects motorcyclists inTexas.

    The group is welcome by the City of Comanche, the EDC, and the Comanche Chamber of Commerce.
