• Over 100 Attend Comanche Museum Party

The bad news is that the Comanche County Museum is desperately in need of volunteers to help keep the museum moving forward. We are few, and we are old! If you have an interest in joining with us in the work of the museum, email fredda@texansunited.com.

The great news is that we still draw large crowds to what is one of the best small-town museums in Texas. The end of the year party headed up by board members was a huge success with well over 100 in attendance. Of course, with the type  of entertainment and  eats volunteers provide…topped off with Henry Adcock’s pies…it’s not hard to have people beating a path to the refreshment table!

Our thank you goes out to Garry Steele for the wonderful photos, and to Missy Jones who with other museum volunteers made all of the arrangements, did the work, and caused the party to happen in the first place!  COMANCHE MUSEUM 2013

    About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
