It’s been a busy few weeks getting all the reds out of barrels and putting the new 2012 reds in barrels. And not all of the 2012 reds are in there yet. We had a LOT more 2012 red wine than we did in 2011. Finding space for it is challenging to say the least.

The reds that we will be bottling in a few weeks are a 2010 Brennan Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, 2011 Brennan Vineyards Dark Horse, and two new wines – 2011 Brennan Vineyards Tempranillo & a 2010 Brennan Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The last time we made a Reserve Cabernet was 2006. We will also be making a Chardonnay for the first time this year. As of this morning, our cellar is completely out of the 2010 Dark Horse, and there are just a few cases left in the tasting room. So we will be out of inventory for a few weeks until we bottle the 2011, which will be very nice as well.
