• Shooting Down Senior Hunger!

What a great way to have some fun and help a very, very worthy cause! Yes, it seems that Meals on Wheels of Erath County will be hosting their very first clay shoot on June 23, 2012 at the Greystone Castle Sporting Club in Erath County.

Of course, all proceeds will benefit Erath County’s Meals on Wheels for local support of services for the homebound elderly.

If you have an “eagle” eye, or just want to have some fun and support a great cause, contact Executive Director Whitney Lee at 254-965-3510. Sponsors are needed as well.

“Meals on Wheels delivers more than 3,000 meals each month to home-bound seniors. Proceeds from the fun shoot will help MOWEC continue home-delivered meal services and keep elderly clients off waiting lists.

“We delivered 45,157 meals last year to homebound elderly and disabled Erath County residents. There’s no way we could have supported that many people without the support of the community.” –Whitney Lee
