Be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, April 21, 2012, where the place to be is the Rotary Building in Dublin, Texas for the SOOBS auction that will begin there at 6:30 p.m. Texansunited.com has photos of items to be auctioned at various places in its news section.
One very interesting item to be auctioned was donated by Brennan Vineyards of Comanche, Texas. The lucky bidder and his/her guests will win an extremely interesting evening with Pat and Trellise Brennan of Brennan Vineyards in Comanche, Texas.
Guests will learn how Pat and Trellise began their wine business, take a tour of the winery, and enjoy a pairing with fresh fruit and cheeses.
According to Karen Wright, executive director for the Dublin EDC, “The auction is not only for a good cause, it promises to be a lot of fun. There will be the opportunity to purchase some unique items and there’s a lot of excitement about several of the items.”
Wright went on to say that it isn’t just the big items which will be popular.
“There are a lot of smaller items in the silent auction which will appeal to a diverse group of bidders. And whatever funds are generated will help save our wonderful historic buildings which house the Dublin Historical Museum and the Ben Hogan Museum. It’s a win-win for the historical society and for the auction attendees.”
Here at United we think it sounds like a ton of fun!
