Stop 7 – W.M. Wright Park Dublin Texas

If you are in the mood for a picnic or if you need a place for the kids to run off some energy, a stop at the W.M. Wright Historical Park might be a place all of you can enjoy. You are welcome to spread a quilt and eat on the ground, or you can obviously use the covered picnic area.

While the kids play, you can look around a bit at the old grist mill and the 19th century Turnbow-Barbee cabin. Can you believe that families were raised in this little cabin?

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for and marketing small-town Texas.
