• Texas Teachers Role Models For Students?

Sometimes it doesn’t take a single word for an adult to be a good role model for our young people, and since I do believe that a picture is truly worth a thousand words, I will just tell you that this photo was taken at the 9-11 Memorial in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Unknown to Comanche Ag teacher, Jeremiah Greene (on left), Donna Jones snapped this candid picture as he viewed the memorial to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Here at United we have been told more than once that the behavior of the Comanche kids who competed in the National Ag Business contest was superb. With leadership such as this by both of the Comanche Ag teachers, we can certainly understand why that is the case!

    About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
