• The Best Steak In Texas Will Be In Hico, Texas

    Historic Hico, Texas is the place to be this next Saturday, May 19, 2012, because that is where the food and good times are going to flow as Hico hosts the Texas Steak Cookoff that has become famous around the lone star state. I hope to see you there!

    The 9th Annual Texas Steak Cookoff starts at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 19, 2012, in the Historic Downtown Business District of Hico, Texas. This family friendly event offers artisan vendors, local shopping, and of course, a chance to look on as backyard chefs from all over the Southwest compete to see who cooks the best steak in Texas.

    In addition, enjoy live entertainment for the whole family all day and into the evening. There will also be awine tasting featuring local Texas wineries that will go on during the event.
