I’ve seen it a hundred times, at least. Our daughter performed in it for two seasons, and I was there two nights a week for both seasons, not counting the multitude of rehearsals. Today, we still attend once per season, and I simply never tire of the story that is the greatest Promise ever given to mankind, the story of the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Christ.
Performed in the gorgeous outdoor setting of the Texas Amphitheatre in Glen Rose, Texas, the story of The Promise never grows old, its actors and vocalists just as passionate on the last performance of the season as on the first. The video has some wonderful previews of the actual performance.
In its 25th season, the 2013 production will run Friday and Saturday nights from August 20 through October 26. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the box office at (254) 897-3926.
