• Visiting The Buck Cabin In Stephenville, Texas

    Stephenville Museum
    525 East Washington Street
    Stephenville, Texas 76401

Guests coming and you’re not sure how to entertain them? Why not think about showing them a bit of Texas heritage? I’ve yet to find anyone who doesn’t love a slice of the past, and the Buck Cabin is just one of several on the grounds of the Stephenville Historical Museum.

And you don’t have to worry about schedules because the grounds are always open for viewing!

We have a feeling that all of you will be amazed to think that anyone once called this tiny cabin home, but home it was, built in 1870 on East Long Street in Stephenville.

The museum grounds just might make the perfect stop the next time you are in Stephenville!

    About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
