W.M.Wright Historical Park THERE YET

This stop will only take a short time and will be well worth it if you are traveling with a history buff, if you are ready to let the kids run around a bit, or if you are ready for that picnic that children seem to love.

If you are eating you can either put your own blanket on the ground or use the tables under the pavilion. While there, you will see:

  1. A 19th Century grist mill
  2. A 19th Century log cabin from the Turnbow and Barbee families

About Fredda Jones

Fredda Davis Jones was raised “in the country” in Comanche County and learned very early that creativity and innovation are traits that can flourish even in small-town Texas and that with enough effort, indeed nothing is impossible, including being married to the same man for over 40 years! Rickey and Fredda have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a crazy life that includes sitting in the bleachers several times a week. The rest of her time is spent creating great content for texansunited.com and marketing small-town Texas.
