• Wendi’s Pork Tacos – Texas Good!

    this past week, at our local grocery store, they had pork chops on sale. i am so burnt out on fried, braised, baked pork chops, so i decided to try pork tacos!!! i’ve heard of them, but never tasted them, so i decided to GO FOR IT!!!! and let me tell ya…they were THE BOMB!!! and they were so easy!!!! so i thought to myself, “i shall BLOG them”!!!!!! i hope everyone enjoys!!!!!

    PORK TACOS

    1 pkg pork chops (i bought bone-in then de-boned them)

    slice chops in thin “fajita” style strips

    1 sliced bell pepper

    1 sliced white onion

    1 envelope taco seasoning mix

    2 TBSP of your favorite meat marinade

    2 TBSP veg oil

    DIRECTIONS:

    saute’ pork, bell peppers, and onion in oil & marinade until cooked through and peppers and onion are tender……sprinkle taco seasoning mix on pork and continue cooking until it “glazes” the pork….

    soften corn tortillas in a hot skillet, serve pork mixture in tortillas with grated cheese!!!

    **we also had homemade salsa, rice and beans as our sides!!!

    YUUUUMMMMYYYY!!!!!!!
