    Written by Christine Perkins

IT’S ALMOST HALLOWEEN and that means it’s time for the 30th Annual Halloween Costume Contest at Western Hills Residence Center! Spooks, witches, black cats and others will be at Western Hills Saturday, October 27th at 2:15 p.m. The Comanche Chamber of Commerce co-sponsors this contest with Western Hills and everyone is invited.

Get those costumes ready for your children ages birth through third grade. There will be four age divisions: birth to two years, three to five year olds, kindergarten and first grades, and second and third grades.

Plan to be at Western Hills at 2:15 and make this a big treat for the children and the residents! Sign-up and judging will be held on the front lawn, weather permitting. Ribbons will be awarded to first, second and third place in each division, plus everyone will receive a participation ribbon. Refreshments will be served following the contest.

Volunteers and cookie bakers are still needed. Call the Chamber for more details at 325.356.3233 or email at office@ComancheChamber.org.
