Wine Competitions At Brennan Vineyards

It seems like it is always wine competition time around here at Brennan Vineyards. There are a lot of logistics and expenses in entering wine competitions. So why do we take the time to pay for entry fees, expense for shipping wine, donating wine for our entry and possibly donating more wine if we receive a Double Gold or Gold Medal. The results (medals) we have received over the years I think really helps in two areas.

First is really validates the quality of wines that we produce at Brennan Vineyards on a yearly basis. And secondly it really does help sell our wine. People are always impressed that we (and other Texas wineries) are consistently winning medals all across the US. The Houston Rodeo Wine Competition was just a few weeks ago and we were pleased with our
results, especially for the Three White Chicks.

Silver Medal & TX Class Champion – AS Three White Chicks 2010

Silver Medal – Brennan Vineyards Viognier 2010

Bronze Medal – Brennan Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Bronze Medal – Brennan Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

We have two more competitions that are in the near future. So watch out for more results from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition & Dallas Morning News Wine Competition.
