Strive for Progress…Not Perfection!!!! Being fit and healthy is something everyone thinks about often. The more fit and healthy we are, the better our lives become.
At Your Gym, personal trainer Danna Robinson is very passionate about helping people realize their full potential. Danna is a 34-year-old mom of 3 and became a personal trainer simply because she loved to work out. In school, she participated in different sports and was a cheerleader. Staying fit and healthy was necessary to participate in these activities and that meant working out; she hasn’t really stopped since.
Being on bed rest for four months of her pregnancy with her last child, she had to begin working out again at square one. After suffering injury after injury, Danna finally decided to hire a personal trainer, Donny Hill, so that she could get the professional training that helped to get her back on her feet. She says she couldn’t have done it without him, and it was during this time that she was introduced to cardio kickboxing.
Danna has been a personal trainer for the past 2 1/2 years. She has taught numerous classes including cardio kickboxing, water aerobics, and strength training. She also conducts Fitness Boot Camps. In addition to the classes, she also teaches the importance of a healthy diet and how these foods not only assist in weight loss but play a very vital role in improving overall body and mind.
Helping people achieve their weight loss and fitness goals is what makes her job so enjoyable, and she is here to help you begin your journey. Danna became certified in crossfit (her choice fitness workout) in February of 2012 and says that it is a program that is adjustable to fit everyone’s needs, depending on abilities.
Your Gym also offers a wide selection of weight machines, free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, and numerous other weight loss and strength training tools. Group training classes are offered at different times throughout the day, as well.
So come on down, and let Danna help you set and achieve your personal fitness goals at Your Gym. Be sure to join her on Facebook as well!
